JANUARY 2011: “Twenty-Ten Has Left the Building!”

(NOTE: Newcomers, who would like to get an idea of what this site is all about, would be well-advised to click on "2005 Pages" and read that introduction. Enjoy!)

Omigod, another year bites the dust!
It wasn't even three months ago that TC and I were convinced we wouldn't have a 2011 New Year's party. The parties themselves are wonderful, but the before and after are nightmares. Plus, add to that over one-hundred sardined party-goers at last year's bash, and it just didn't seem worth doing again. Well, for those of you who attended it, this year's celebration was the best yet!
It came about, purportedly, because TC realized that, due to the size of the flamboyant trees on the lawn, it might be the last year we could do it. According to TC, "The trees will grow so much by next year there won't be any place to set-off the fireworks!"
"Say it ain't so!"
Therefore, based on that rationalization, we had to come up with a way to politely limit the number of guests. I mean, after all, we didn't want Casa Ingaso to get as cramped as a Texas outhouse after a hot chili cook-off did we?
Well, no solution could prevent a few hurt feelings, but I think we hit upon the best under the circumstances. TC sent an invitation to everyone we had an email address for, and we wound up with eighty people—which proved to be just right. In fact, everything went so swimmingly that we've already begun discussing how to make the before and after easier next time...
"Hey, wait a minute! What happened to those o'er growing trees!?!?"
At any rate, we again had more than one person taking photos. You can tell who shot what by looking for their names in the banner of each gallery page: TC, Peter or Bob Emerick.

Other than that, there's only one other gallery: "Life at Casa Ingaso," here, perfectly illustrated by The Great Dog Bobo.
All that's left for you to do is...
"Click the dawg, Paden."
[ If you haven't seen the movie, Silverado, do yourself a favor! ]

There you go, another update from Casa Ingaso, and so soon! Why, it's only been a couple of months since the last one. So, stop your belly-achin' and man up, pardner. We'll be back again before you know it, especially you-all who thought you'd removed yourselves from our e-list. "Eh, eh, eh.."

“ˇHappy trails, Buckaroos!”
