August 2013: “Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez!”

Let the good times roll. I'm a slug in most physical activities (plus bodily traits), but inside I'm a seasoned, pleasin' bon vivant, ready for anything and experienced in ways outside your normal daydream.
"Drugs have been, berry, berry good to me."
And what's my credo? Don't take anything seriously, don't think anything is important, and never be sure. It's all good. As Alexander Pope said: "Whatever is, is right." So, why waste time worrying about it. Just smile and enjoy the ride.
"There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so."
- William Shakespeare
Besides, you're only hurting yourself when you hang on to those negative trips, all that stuff that brings you down or makes you less. Doesn't really make any sense, does it?
Life is but a dream. Sh-boom, sh-boom...
(I guess it must be obvious, by now, that I'm a wild and crazy couch potatoe [sic], so I hope you're all used to it. Oh, and I'm not important, so don't take me seriously...though you can never be sure.)
Catch you on the flip side...

sunrise
Let's start things off with the gallery I usually save for last: Casa Ingaso. Actually, it'd be more accurate to call it our catchall: everything not able or willing to fit in any other gallery. Contrary, comes to mind...
Nonetheless, here it is for your viewing pleasure. Just click the pic and go!
Remember the link on the last gallery page will bring you back here. Enjoy!

Ribo
Okay, that was fun...
As this stern-gazing mutt implies, furry family members make up our next sojourn; all the crazy little boogers who so entertain us.
Everyone's lives still revolve around Ribo, though here it would be more accurate to say: revolve around avoiding Ribo. Nothing has changed. He's still a greedy, little attention-grabber, and never happier than when he's the center of it.
Go ahead, give him a click...

Walkabout
Okay, let's go on a walkabout!
There's been no major changes since our last trek, but things flora have been popping, now that the wet time is here. It's as if one rain turns everything green and induces blooms. Of course, it doesn't; that takes two rains.
Nonetheless, now that we're three months into the rainy season, things are in full swing at Ingaso. Click and see.

Yoga Back in the dry season, once again, TC found a yoga retreat in Costa Rica. This time, Melissa and Barb traveled to Panama to join TC on her new adventure. Of course, the fact that they were able to coincide Beach Week with the yoga trip had nothing to do with it. Just serendipity...
At any rate, the Beach Week stuff will come later. For now, it's all about the asanas—and the vegetarian meals!
Just click on those smiling faces...

Volcan
TC thinks this year's annual trip to the Volcán heliconia farm was the fourth one, although it might've been fifth?
At any rate, this year's travelers included Connie, Rose and Jan. The four of them endured a five to six-hour drive (depending on who you ask) to get there, then a weekend's worth of looking and buying. (TC only came home with three plants, one a gift—I was so proud.)
Just follow them down the trail...

surrise
The next two galleries will connect to Shutterfly where TC has uploaded the pix from these events. Closing the page that opens will bring you back here...
Beach Week! This year, however, the house used for the getaway wasn't on the beach, but on a bluff, plus set back aways from the view. It didn't seem to dampen anyone's spirits, despite the fact the women were all wet and full of spirits...hm, maybe that's why?

surrise And that leaves us with a new event, a Purple Haze Brunch party. Don't ask...
The burgeoning petrea blooms clinging to the allée gave TC the idea for the theme. But, she's been waiting years to throw a tea or brunch under the promenade.
I have no idea how the hat figured into it, but it represents a recurring motif for the morning. Maybe it had something to do with Wicca and secret initiations...Nah!
Give her a click.

That's all, folks. Hope you made it this far. If you did, you deserve free psychiatric sessions. Oh well, at some point, I'll do this again, but don't hold your breath. “Vaya con Dios, Amigos”
