TC's discovered the best method to make the broken tile is to wear a thick glove on one hand, holding the tile in it, and hitting the tile with a hammer, breaking it down to the size pieces you want. Once that's done, it's jig-saw puzzle time, fitting the pieces together however it pleases you. (No glue is used as yet.)
