The week before, TC and I had spotted the stray running loose near the trash-dump structure here in Altos—we noticed him due to his resemblance to Bobo. She happened to mention it to Jeanette, and the next thing you knew, Jeanette showed up at our door with the dog. He was a scrawny little mutt, and if you look closely, you can see just how thin he was, all skin and bone with unusually large ears.
