Meanwhile, back at the ranchito, watching Fernando clean the pool (a job I did when we first moved in), it got me to thinking about my father. He instilled in me two "attitudes" common in the States: "If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right"; and: "If you want it done right, do it yourself." It's taken me most of my life to undo that brainwashing. What else do we pick-up as children that only limits our experience of life?
