Some of you might remember our ongoing efforts to take care of the huskies who live across the street from us. Well, one day I noticed Alaska, the sole female, was looking a little chubby. Sure enough, she dropped nine furry bundles of joy. Fortunately, the owner came out from Panama and has taken care of her and her pups. We understood why when he told us a pet store would pay him $200 a puppy!
