After nearly three years of failed attempts, involving work conflicts, school conflicts, lack of a passport, and loss of a passport, my grandson, Aaron, finally made it to Panama. Of course, as with all visitors, his stay included the obligatory visit to the Miraflores Locks of the Canal. (I'm not sure what statement he is making with that hat...oops, I probably shouldn't have said that out loud.)
