Wait! This is not Panamá. My sister, Chris, sent this picture from Santa Barbara, California, just to remind me of what we're missing. It's a sunset at Faria Beach: the beach my family has enjoyed all our lives; the beach where my parents owned a small, idyllic cabin; the beach where my mother relished her final years.

(Now, I must point out that NO Photoshoping enhanced this image; I didn't touch it and I don't think my sister even owns Photoshop. Nope, this is just the kind of sunset you get at Faria several times a year: drop-dead gorgeous.)
