A tragedy struck Tipper on the last Sunday in April; we think someone threw a rock at her, hitting her on or near her right eye. When I discovered her, it looked like a golf ball had been inserted under the right-side of her skull, the eye huge, staring and black—this picture is several days later. There were also black tears running down her cheek. I can't describe the horror I felt, nor my complete sense of helplessness in the face of her terrible injury...
