Now, you might remember the amazing survival story of the last one of these critters who visited us a month or two ago, but unfortunately this poor fellow didn't fare as well. I thought he was all right when I took this picture, up safe from the animals. The next morning, however, I found him floating in the pool like the one before him, but this time, when I scooped him up with the net, he was a goner.
