MARCH 2008: “Oh no! Look What the Easter Bunny Brought!”

(NOTE: Newcomers, who'd like to get an idea of what this site is all about, would be well-advised to click on "2005 Pages" and read that introduction. Enjoy!)

Normally, I like Spring and its vernal equinox, and the appearance in supermarkets of Cadbury cream-filled, milk-chocolate Easter eggs—"Mm, mm, yummy!"

But, this Spring brought with it something I loathe, something so injurious to my psyche that I slowly slip into a shroud of depression. Roxie and I both share this anguish, and if you want to find out what it is, take a deep breath, gird your loins, and click on the image of her writhing on the ottoman.

(Don't worry, if you click on through the small gallery, you'll wind up right back here.)

Soooooo, not really the way I wanted to usher in Spring which, other than noise and dust and little, tiny rats eating at my brain, has been a wonderful dry season—we even got to view the full lunar eclipse! (See the next gallery.)

Of course, with every silver lining there comes mold and mildew. And this Spring, it came in the form of myriad critters suffering through the gauntlet of cats and dogs that "protect" Casa Ingaso. Now, if we just had something to protect us from the cats and dogs...

Nonetheless, we've accumulated a few new images depicting life here in Ingaso, including the life-and-death struggles of several hapless critters—pictures I know my grandsons will enjoy.

So, if you're ready, click on the gorgeous sunset and peruse our latest gallery. Meantime, I'm going to pop a few ibuprofen, shove some earplugs in my head (hopefully, in the right orifices!), and take a nap.

“Hasta la vista, Baby!”
