"Thunder and Lightning over Picacho!"

One evening in May, I sat on the pool steps to watch our first big storm of 2006. The lightning was nearly constant but above the clouds, so I saw only indistinct flashes followed by rolling thunder. Nonetheless, I was using the video function of our digital camera to capture the sound—the lens idly pointing at Picacho—when, lo and behold, did I get lucky!
