Okay, two crates of slate: 2 tons of weight. Sure, they mighta fit in our car, but moving it
would have been a problem. By the time we got out of the city the truck had the slate, another
crate of pool tile, a large 2-man bath tub (any volunteers?), and our 1100 lbs. worth of
States-bought and shipped Ikea kitchen cabinets. A worthy load for the Panamanian roads.
